exhaust question

aight so i put on my o/r bbk xpipe and was running just that..no mufflers or pipes and i new i wud loose all power i put mufflers on and i hated the sound i love the loudness but i dont wanna sacrafise(sp) power..wat is the best muffler setup that has a nice tone and i will b able to have my power..i wanted to run cherry bomb glass packs with dumps but im not sure i will have any back pressuse since they are straight flow through..lmk

I used to run a set of 2.5" pro-dumps. I liked them on my stock engine. The biggest issue with exhausts is that no two people will have the exact same taste in sound. So the best piece of advise is to go on youtube, search around, and find what you like.

I had the mac pro-dumps, had a real deep sound, but a little on the heavy side, switched to the bassani bx dumps, I like the bassani sound. Just my opinion.

I have an o/r x-pipe and slp loudmouths dumped...I really didnt notice a drop in power at all. If any up top it's a little more open, I do feel a little slower down around 2000rpm though
