Also when I had my rear modded I had them slip an extra set of clutches in. Totaling 5 on each side. Now I always am spinning both rear tires..

I usually back into the water and before you get to the trench you stop.
Then just lightly spin out of the box to clean your tires.
With your tires being wet you can engage your burnout for a few seconds and then let of the brake while your still spinning and let them catch..
Then your ready to rock n roll..

Heres how i roll:

A
lso it helps to go to a pro event and watch how people who do it for a living do it..

Thanks for the video, and that's without a line lock? Seems to me if I'm going to drive through the water, I shouldn't entirely depend on the tech to tell me when to stop, I can feel when I'm through the water (in my video I'm a good several feet through the water).

Are there any official write-ups on putting extra clutches in the diff?

Well I'll be home in a couple of hours and will do some testing in the street...try not to freak the neighbors out too much.

You can try donuts but it'll work a lot better turning left vs turning right. Sometimes on a hard right turn it'll only spin the inside tire because of how it's set up. A better test is a straight line burnout, rev it up and dump it.

I'm glad were on the same page. Yeah when you said you had some 13 1/4 mile times and under 100mph, I knew you knew what you were talking about bro. Best way we know is from experience.;)

Some people are surprised when I tell them its a NPI car actually!

Well I've got good news, ain't nothing wrong with my diff! After I got home today I hosed down a patch of street in front of the house, and did my thing. Two tire fire for me!

I shot video...but my Internet connection is being a turd, so it's going to be a while longer before it's uploaded. Spun for about 3 feet before I got on the brake, then it was sweet sweet tire smoke. So nothing wrong with the diff, but my clutch wasn't happy afterwards (once I have the video up, you'll hear it squeak at the end).

Thanks again everyone for your help. Looks like next time I go I'll just have to make sure I don't go too far past the trench before i start.

My car will never one tire to the right with extra clutches in it. This is why I put extra clutches in I like to be able to do em both ways. But I don't do lots anymore

Yea you can actually feel the car start to fall on it face around 5300-5500 rpm . Reving the piss out of the car ain't always good
