Im guessing this send the same signal to the CCRM to turn on the fans. I did this and my fans came on. The only thing that is removed from this process of the fans being told to turn on, is the engine coolant temp switchIm not sure if you have your AC removed or not, and im  not sure if you have to have your compressor hooked up for this all to happenAs far as testing the ECTS. you will need to ohm it out. or just go spend the 15 bucks and buy a new one and see what happens. You can always return it, if this doesnt work.I have tested everything else on my car.. relays, fuses, CCRM, AC, harness, wires, and the fan its self. Everything checks out fine.
