My main reason for wanting to try it is cause I wanna get rid of the fender emblems, but there's a hole underneath them.

Well I will probably regret this. I was gonna do it as well. Use the hole thats there an insert the flush mount Jammy LED light. They make these in different sizes. They are bright and would make great blinkers. Will hardly be noticeable. I used these on my dually build..

My neighbor did 10 LED's in his side scoops. Looks pretty neat, though it makes the car think a bulb is out so you get the fast blink all the time.

I think smoked signals on the fenders could look good assuming they aren't too big and look nice. I considered it but I think I'd miss my snakes too much lol

interesting, i wonder what he did. Adding lights to the system shouldn't cause a hyper flash I don't think.

If I remember correctly he just tapped into them up by the bulb and ran a wire back.

He filled in the honeycomb on the side scoop inserts and drilled holes.

Neat, but not for me ha.

Leds in the turn signals always cause a hyper flash. The flash rate is determined by the impedence of the light bulbs and putting leds in alters that.

Funny enough I actually just pulled my side scoops out today to put a couple of small leds(probably 3 on the top). I also put some in the hood scoops and the outline of my pony infront of the grill lights up blue as well. They are not super bright leds, I would never drive with them on and don't even like the rice idea but I have seen some cars at night shows that looked cool with some minor leds here/there and want to try. Not sure if I will like it but worse case I will just never turn them on...

U only need one to fill the hole behind the emblem. They are extremely bright and would be cool as just a blinker. If it causes a hyper flash then u just get a resistor. They are less then $10 a set.

They would probably fit manual mirrors not sure there is enough room in electric mirrors. They make these lights in alot of sizes.

U could easily smoke a set yourself. I agree they would be more stealth on a black stang if they were smoked. I wasnt going to tint mine, they will hardly be noticeable on a white stang.

Lights in the scoops is def rice.. Much more then fender blinkers, which I do believe BMW did first so its hardly rice. Just looks cheap when done with big goofy lights.

LEDs in the turn signals cause hyper flash when they REPLACE the stock incandescent bulbs, just adding LEDs to the stock circuit shouldn't cause a change because if anything it's increasing the resistance.
