I love the stiffness of the stock clutch. Its just right. Super soft clutches on these cars feel dumb to me.

I had a Centerforce DF clutch and thats about as light as you can get..... But i HATED The lightness and went back to a stock Sachs clutch.

ive had 2 friends drive it so far and tell me that the clutch is pretty stiff, but i havent driven many 5-speed mustangs so i would know what to compare it too. but it isnt bad, now im curious what a light clutch feels like on one of these things. i dont think it's bad honestly

Thats just how these cars are. its a cable clutch not hydraulic so it takes a little more pressure to push in. No one else is used to it cuz they have cars with hydraulic clutches and those are super easy to push in.

I have a spec stage 2 in my car and its even more stiff than factory but i dont even notice it unless i drive someone else's car to compare it to that is. but then after gettin back in my car for 5 minutes it feels like any other car to me. People just arent used to it.

they both have 5-speed mustangs with cable clutches

Maybe yours has been upgraded then. that'd be cool

i have a FRPP King Cobra clutch

I have a Spec stage III. Going back and forth from the soft a*s Z06 clutch to my car took some getting used to lol.

Haha I know what you mean! THe first time I drove my dad's new C6, I nearly made a hole in the firewall. I personally think the clutch on that car is too light, but then again I'm used to my car.

I have a factory flywheel + Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. Freaking love it! Soft as hell (softer than the King Cobra I had in it) grabs perfect for the track, and is good for about 600hp.

I would never be able to deal with a hard clutch. I had to drive my brother's 95 Cobra around for a few days with his Spec Stage 3, and I hated it! lol The hardness of the clutch and the chatter was enough to make me want to kill myself. haha

looks very good man, definitely an improvement. Ima say it looks pretty good on those wheels because of the spacers on the rear.

replace the clutch cable if you think it's stiffer than it should be for a king cobra. the cables get wore out over time and can bind in the casing. replaced mine one day and it was almost night and day.

Very clean by the way. what's next on the mod agenda?

Is that a little smoke coming out of the pipes?? from the start to the shift. It looks like it smoked when you shifted.Me personally i would put some different mufflers on there to get rid of the Raspyness of the exhaust. That's just me though. Or add Cats to get of it.

congrats on the new car. It does have a nice stance, it's got to have at least a 25mm spacer in the rear for those stockers to sit out there.

yeah, pretty big spacers. i measured the spacer itself with a tape measure and they 1" hubcentric

yeah, you can't go wrong with the 1" spacers. They will work great with any 8-9" wheel on the sn95's. I had a set that was used with multiple sets of wheels and it always seemed to make them look great. (btw 25mm is equal to 1")
