welcome, the good thing about fox bodies is they are like lego's for big kids. Easy to work on.
As for the one wheel peel you just need to rebuild the traction loc in the diff. its easy, takes about 2-3 hours the 1st time. If it doesn't have gears do it when you do the gears and replace all the seals and bearings.
As for the rusty hatch i wouldn't even try to save it, just find another.
before you buy anything READ as much as you can. I've wasted more money buying crap 3 times because i didn't know or didn't read up on it 1st.

ive been reading on mustangs for a while, just never owned one really until now. but most deffinatley i will research, and thanks to great forums like these where they wont bash on you for not knowing crap about mustangs! i love the clean look of the lx mustang, wanted one, but couldnt refuse to buy the gt....too good of a price
