I have a bad back and wasn't able to drive my lowered 98 5-spd ragtop this year before my back surgery in early May. It has been a long recovery. I'm finally was able to get in it and drive it. I had to get it registered, but the battery had taken a dump while in storage. Got a new battery in it yesterday. The computer memory had been wiped so I was forced to drive some so the OBDII reader at the inspection station could read that the car was OK. So, my first drive since last fall was a combo of freeway driving and back roads, top down, on a sunny 80 degree day. Damn that felt good!
