Got the polishes for christmas, finally used them for the first time today. I've got to say that I am very impressed.
Although the V36 doesn't have enough cut as M105, it is way easier to work with.

here is after both the polishes.

I just got using my V36 also and I'd have to agree on both parts. Didn't have quite enough cut to get out everything, but is 10x easier to use than M105. No dusting or anything and wipes right off.

Nice Work!!!

V36 is a medium polish, not a compound. Think medium swirl remover.

M105 is more comparable to V34.

I need to pick up some V34... I loved the way the V36 didn't dust/wiped off etc, but I couldn't quite get the cut I needed. If V34 is just as easy and cuts more like M105, i'm sold. After using V34 i've decided not to even mess with M105 haha. Time to move on to better products.

Would you guys reccomend me just jumping right to these then instead of going the 105 205 route most people seem to start with? I will be purchasing a PC soon and plan on doing some paint correction.

i would, but i would say that it would be a good thing to learn to use 105, it definitely has a learning curve to it. 105 is a heavy duty compound that could take out any defect that can be taken out so it would be nice to know how to use it. I do like these polishes a lot more then the meguiars polishes, but i would only recommend m105 if the v34 doesnt have the same amount of cut.. i hope that makes sense.

If V34 works as easily as V36... then yes, i'd say start off with the V series stuff. I tried starting off with M105/M205 and I've just been frustrated a lot. Now, I didn't get exactly what I wanted out of the V34, but I think that's just because I need something with a better cut. I'm also very new to this stuff.

Hmmm, well someone use V34 and let me know how well it cuts. I might just order the three of them when I get the PC. The first vehicle I plan to do is a jeep with a laser red looking color. should come out gorgeous.

Honestly, go with the D300 from megs. Its has ALMOST as much cut as m105 and its way easier to work with. Ive found that D300 and the M105/M205 combo work the best. Yes there is a learning curve but its really not that steep of a learning curve.
