Ok, well My IMRCs started sticking a couple summers ago, and I had a bad donut gasket in my Cam cover for about the same amount of time.
Well, I ziptied the IMRCs open a while back, and the gasket didn't affect any driveability at all. I kept telling myself i'd Powder Coat all the parts when I took them off. i have access to all the equiptment, I just supply the powder.
Unfortunately, I never got around to tearing this bish down until last week when I took it out of storage for the season.
So a buddy came over and helped me tear it all apart.
Here's what I started with...
Gross intake
My buudy standing on the radiator support, trying to pull off the damn coolant crossover tube. Bahahaha
Intake off, both cam covers off.
LOL, we wrapped up the motor with plastic wrap to keep all the dirt and crap out ouf it.
Here's most of the parts after i powder coated them.
Here's the "finished" product. Still need to add a few aluminum pieces including the spark plug covers. Need new wire looms as well, so don't mind the messy wires.
I was going for a clean, low key look.
