First passes with Procharger!

Well, after a TON of sh*t going wrong and finally finishing my car, I got it to the track today finally for only the 2nd and last time this year (went in May when car was N/A). Only made 3 passes (day started an hour late due to rain) and my first pass sucked. Ran 12.82@117mph spinning through first. Dropped slick PSI down to 12 PSI then blasted a 12.27@112mph. Final pass I made was a [email protected] with a 1.74 60' time. Car is not liking the 26x8.5 slicks. Going to due some suspension work this winter and FINALLY get big and littles for this beast, I KNOW I can get high 11s out of it.

Damn only 6#'s and that fast? I need C heads lol. Good mph. Yeah you might be able to squeeze an 11 in if you do some suspension work.

Yup, could squeeze more but needs more fuel system lol. Just need a little bit of tweeking, It'll run 11s next year

Good pass man, its easy to go fast with a low hp car, now that you have some more power, youll have a fun time dialing it in. Just one thing at a time and it will come around. 28's will be good but where are you at the 1320' for rpm/gear right now?

Lol..may only be 6 psi but its making 410 rwhp!

I agree, looks like 11s are there with a better 60 foot.

Is your car stick rice slayer? I thought you were auto for some reason

You should really be able to get that in the 1.5-1.6 range with slicks.

Launching at 4.5k this time, didn't want to go too hard the first time out with it. Car is only tuned to 6k so I'm shifting at 6/6100rpm sadly. Yes it's a stick car, and Duffy I'm running about 5700rpm in 4th through the traps, hoping the 28s help keep the car in the power band longer, and it has 4.10s. Chris, the install was not too bad, just lots of little shit went wrong (car had underdrive pulleys which I didn't know, needed to wait a week for stock crank and water pump pulleys) and just a bunch of minor things, but was pretty straight forward. Car runs great though, very smooth and pulls HARD in the top end. I'm going to do full length SBC on it and get big and littles for it then go back again, might try a 5.5k launch sometime again, just don't want to break it, $500 tow home sucks, I REALLY need a tow vehicle :/. I'm happy, only made 3 passes and I see a lot of potential in it, my little 26x8.5 slicks just won't do anymore haha.
