Just got home from my first time at the track. Here is my fastest time with the mods listed in my sig. I was running with 18" chrome saleens with 245/40/18 street tires, spare tire and jack, rear seat, and passenger seat. I plan on getting rid of all these things. Should I be able to get into the 14's?

R/T .522
60' 2.366
330 6.565
1/8 9.992
MPH 70.90
1000 12.912
1/4 15.366
MPH 91.33

Spare tire, floor jack, and rear seat will net you about 80 pounds all together, and that's being optimistic. Drop your 60' to a 2.1xx and you'll break into high 14s with out changing anything.

yep, 18's weigh a ton. just have fun with street tires dont do a burn out, just get the tires clean, drive around the water box and ahve fun. you can rev and leave at like 4k but you can also just wack it off an idle and get pretty good results that way. Enjoy it and you can see your progress as you become a better driver!!

you can run 14's with just seat time.try sponging clutch out instead of dropping clutch.shift 1-2 @ 5250RPM2-3 AND 3-4 @ 5500.remove spare tire jack ,passenger seat .I was told the rear seat 0f a sn95 is like 200lbs but double check this and post what you find .disconnect the front sway bar.Do these thing's and you should be low low 14 or even 13.50 range.have fun thats what counts

The car is an auto so is there anything I can do to launch better? I think I have read that the rear seat is ~50lbs.
