I've got a problem. I bought over a German company 2 Flomwaster Delta Flow 40 Mufflers, because of the less interior resonance and the "loud" exterior sound. Today I get a package and there are Flowmaster Orginial 40s in. :BangHead: Is there a big difference? I need a Muffler in the first week of April to get my car allowed, here.
Should I send the Muffler back? Maybe you can help me out.

Btw: The rest of my exhaust is still stock.

40's are still chambered mufflers, delta's are just a deeper tone because they are larger if i remember correctly. So you should still be ok.

I pay 223$ (160?) for them. The company who bought them for me, tells me that I can test this muffler and if I don't like it, I can send it back to them.
The only bad thing, I need to weld a holder on them or didn't I?

the 40 series and delta flow 40s are the same size, the delta flow is supposed to have triangle baffles in there to reduce interior sound. Do you know for sure they are original 40s?

That's true. The Delta Flow 40 has the 942543.

I hear some sound clips from the Youtube Flowmaster channel and I can't hear any diference between the Super 40 and the Orginal 40 :dontknow:
Maybe it's not a big difference between the Delta and the Original.
If the car is loud as hell, how it can be quit in the inside of the car?!
