fluctuating fuel pressure at idle

Just installed Vortech V3 on my 01 Bullitt. Used Walbro 255 for fuel pump upgrade. I installed fuel gauge on fuel rail and it shows a fluctuating idle pressure. Is this normal for a 4.6L 2V? Upon raising rpm's above idle needle is steady.
