i ordered new smoked cobra fogs. i went to go instal the hid bulbs i previously had in my old gt foglights, the actuall bulb itself is too long and hits the reflecftor piece in the new fog light lense. My old light didnt have this piece. im wondering if they make smaller bulbs that will still fit? anyone have this problem?

My Speed6 has a reflector in the Fog housing you can just move it a couple mm and you should be fine. I did that when install HID's inoto them. I know the GT fogs i have don't have that hmm.

My speed has a small screw that holds the reflector in. I left them as it helps not to blind people since there not a project lens. I wouldn't bother with taking the lens apart. It's just more work to do that just bend it a little. It'll be fine there won't be any advantage in light output.

Not to my knowledge just bend it just a little bit if you can't get it out. I have been running my speed for almost 6 months like that and no issues.
