IDK. I'll need to double ck before I can yes or no.
It would seem that his way the corner lights need to be on for the fogs to be on.
Using the hot wire from the vert top and changing it with the h/l wire on the f/l sw allows the fogs to be on without anyother lights.

yeah its legit thats what we did in my buddy's 5.0.....but the corners have to be on for the fogs to go on without headlights with this mod.....i flipped 2 wires around (dont remember which ones) and i can have my fogs on whenever i hit the button.....depends on which one you want

Go look!!! I would love to wire the fogs independently without having to splice into the convertible top. I use the top daily from March to October and I have reservations about cutting into my convertible top harness.

i remember now it was actually on AM.....here's both links.....the first link is to have them come on with your corners..this is no splice you just take two wires in the harness and flip their locations......the second one is to have them come on independently so when you hit the fog light switch they come on with no other lights needing to be on......the second one is the route i decided to go

Woop!!! All done! It looks great, I can't wait for dusk to go cruising around! I'll have pics tonight when it's not so bright outside.

The only PITA was getting the red clip back into the harness, fiddled with it for ten minutes in the drivers seat, hopped in the back seat and it went right in. Alot to be said for leverage.

Thanks a bunch guys, you made my day!

sorry to highjack this man, but since I don't have fogs, when I wire them in, should I just splice them in with my DRL's and call it a day, or do I already have the wiring, just no lights?
