How come all the fog lights for these cars suck? Is there anyone out there who sells a bolt in pair of fog lights, that fit in the factory bumper holes, that actually work as fog lights are intended to? I've never seen any. I've tried a few different sets, usually just junk they had on the shelf at autozone or oriellys. None of em worked. You couldn't even tell they were on. So what's a good set that's actually worth the plastic its made out of?

My foglights work great lol, your problem is your buying foglights at an autoparts store, go to Latemodelrestoration.com they have a wide variety.

yeah if you're not gonna run stock with a good bulb then you're going to need to buy something expensive; Rigid, PIAA, etc.

I think another reason the fogs suck so much (especially on the Gt's) is they're set 3" behind the from of the bumper. I'm going to look into possibly trying to pull the fogs toward the front about 1"-1 1/2".
Now it's like shining light down a toilet paper tube.

Is should be easy to move them on a 94-96. They are held in with one nut for the most part if I remember correctly from installign mines this past week. You will have to remove that plastic surrounding from them I am almost sure.

YEA, I've had 'em out before. It's just a matter of whether I want to trim the bumper an inch or so and shim them out so they look stock just sit closer to the front bumper. or just wedge them into the existing hole.
That might be a good winter project.

my fog bulbs blow all the time. i don't even use them anymore and will be either deleting them completely or installing a good set like PIAA or similar. But then again, i no longer have a stock bumper.
