I am in a mid life Crisis.. Between being an adult and handling business and babying my car... I have not done any true tunes, or mods just yet because this is my first Ford and First car that has so many options.... My end Goal is to mount a m112 .... Until then I want your Ideas..... I am caught between a F150 4.2 or a 99+ Mustang V6 to get that split port option and keep a V6 ... Lord knows I dont want a V8 ..... I am thinking maybe doing a split port swap and adding m112 ... But the 4.2 cam is better for the supercharger right ? I am so Lost ... Like I said my end goal is to go m112 route.... Should I just add 4.2 heads to my engine or go the 99+ head route oooorrrrr what... ???? Somebody help me ...:shocked::shocked::shocked:

Okay... I'm confused by your post. Are you buying a new car or modding 94/98?

If buying a new car, buy new edge and put blower on 3.8.

If working on 94/98, do a 4.2 swap.

The 4.2 isn't necessary better for the SC, but bigger

I would try to collect some of the wiring from the f150. But essentially you try to use as much mustang parts on it.

Why bother with the 4.2 heads? or do you just mean the split port. if that's what you're getting at, yes it will fit. but if you buy a whole 4.2, just drop the whole sucker in. I would get the heads and intakes ported while it's out.

I have a set of pacesetter long tubes on mine, mac makes a set as well, but in all honesty, I wish I had stuck with the stock ones, the loss in bottom end torque is noticeable.

If you can track down a matt heyde one, they are the best. Ortiz performance was developing one with him a while back, I don't know what happened though,
