Hey Guys, i was just wondering if the Ford Gt block would fit in the SN95 mustang, I know the block would have to be modified to fit the starter since the Ford GT is a rear transaxle motor, would this be a good idea to do. My origional plan was to get a Terminator and do it to that, but they were telling me i should get a 5.4L from a Lincoln Navigator and built that. If anyone has idea's let me know.

Navigator block will fit but the GT block has dry sump oiling system and it'd required a lot of modification to make it work.

The GT block can be purchased already modified to be used in our cars. The starter area is modified, and oil bosses are drilled so it can be used in a standard wet sump system. In the end is it really worth the extra cost to do this??

I think if you were an up and coming shop this might be a good project to showcase what you could do. It would bring lots of attention at a show or the strip!

well That Swap will be done in about 1 and a half year from now on my 06 GT.

I will be installing that block and use custom cnc Heads and forged internals with custom grinded cams. The reason I chose the Ford GT block over the Terminator/lincoln/GT500 is that the Ford GT block is WAY LIGHTER.
