i was wondering if anyone has any comments on ford racing lowering springs?

theres a guy in town here selling a set of FMS-5300C for $150cdn. apparently he's only put about 2000km's on them.

so anyone have good/bad opinions/comments on them?
thanx

I've seen them new for 140....looks like he is trying to shit him. Offer 110 for them if you really want them... if not then get new ones.

I picked mine up, brand new, for around 145 shipped. If he'll go down in price I'd say go for it. I was very happy to say the least in the drop and handling. Not too low, but very nice drop.

They are Bullit spring's, pretty nice upgrade over stock, especially if you need to worry about ground clearance. I drag my Hpipe over spped bumps all the time with my H&R SS spring's, but I love em.

Look for Bullit pics, should be able to find one near a stock GT. It's about 1.25 drop if I remember right.

The installation is fairly easy for the front and rear nothing you cant accomplish with a jack and some jack stands. I think thats a very fair price for the springs. Good Luck.

Yup, I've got "C" springs on my car as well.. Now they don't lower it like some springs do, it is definitely a noticeable drop and I love the stance of it..

urs looks a little higher than mine in the pics.. but it's probly because of the colors. black makes it look lower :dunno:

i keep scraping my exhaust now tho.. just at the brackets that bolt the cat-back to the h-pipe.

does anyone have any ideas how to modify the hangers to raise that up a little?
