OK. I spun a rod bearing about 2 months ago and my car is at a shop right now. The motor is out and broken down. Ive been given an '04 Mach one crank (thank the Lord) and was offered for purchase 03/04 Cobra rods. I was told to take the offer.

I havent been given a price yet...does anyone know what a set of these used rods should cost me? I dont want to get screwed over here...

Enough that you may as well just buy new ones. But since they're used, you can always hunt for them, and of course someone will be along shortly to claim they bought theirs for just 50 dollars and they came with a free Cobra attached.

I would be very careful with used rods. Like J.R. said, probably better going with new ones.

I just buy new ones. Where did he get them? Just to many variables involved. Sometimes cheap isnt cheap.

I just sold a set out of a 03 with 23,000 miles for 275.00. MMR sells a set of new ones for around 400 bucks or so.
