That looks great!! I saw this right when you 1st posted it, pics were not loading for me though. Glad it finally worked. Nice car! Wish I could pay you to do mine when it's ready.

what wax did you use? i just did my car for the first time after the winter, last week. i used Collinite 915, it came out pretty good, but im sure it could look better.

To broke to buy wheels but want new ones.
It's got BBK lowing springs, and Steeda 4 point camber plates. It's lowered. But needs all new susp.

Wash (Meguiar's Wash (purple container)) 1 hour with terr cloth
Clay car (Meguiar's Clay kit) 2 hours with clay and microfiber
Polish ( Meguiar's No. 7 glaze ) Needs scratch x here and there but to laze, used buffer with microfiber, and wiped off with microfiber cloths 2 1/2 hours
Wax (Meguiar's NXT 2.0 Next Generation Wax) 2 1/2 hours used applyed with pad and removed 1 hour later with microfiber.

Wash 5 bucks
Clay 17 bucks (2 bars) one will be for wifes car
Polish can't remember price
Wax 18 bucks

Your supposed to let the wax cure on the paint for a bit, and anot remove it till it comes off easy.

Thats with the Meguiar's NXT 2.0 Next Generation Wax? Hm, I need to invest in some new wax...may look into it.

it took you 3.5 hours to wax your car? i dont think its ever taken me longer than an hour and a half to do a complete wax... i mean i just dont see whats so time consuming about it.

A few detail for my car takes at least 20 hours....which includes 3 washes during the process.

I am detailing my stang right now. Gonna do the final wash to get all the Polish dust off then apply the glaze, wax, and sealant and i should be good to go!!!

week before hand I clay bar'ed with my last years clay, the wheels. It really removes the brake dust.

Yep. I'm gonna be doing some heavy correction on my car this weekend too. I expect at least 10-12 hours of soild polishing/cutting... If you want it to look perfect, you'll have to spend some time on it.

To the OP, you did a really nice job with the products you had! I wonder how bad the claybar was after you finished using it? :thumbsup:
