front tire cupping

Just took my car into the shop and the guy told me the front tires are cupping on the inside, he said he could get the kit and fix the problem for 165 out the door. its 45 for the kit and 125 for labor. What kit is he talkin about and can i get it for cheaper. all parts on my cars suspension are stock except for the eibach lowering kit.

Hes probibly suggesting a Camber Kit or a "Cam bolt". This is abolt with a matching washer which has the hole off set to one side. When this bolt is turned it pushes and pulls the strut to bring it back in to specification. The kits from napa normally are about 30-50 depending on the part number, install time is 1/2 HOUR and then the alignment. From us its 40 kit, 42.5 install and 59.95 alignment so its pretty close to what hes estimating.

X2. Our prices are pretty similar.. Some people go for the camber/caster plates for a wide range of adjustment, but the
"camber bolt" will suffice to correct tire wear.
