How much do they run new? i know someone selling them for $125 and they have 5000 miles on them, he said he swaped back to stock cuz he s/c'd it.
he only wants 125 for them only have 5,000 miles on them so you think i should just not get them? hes local so its no shipping cost either. idk if it comes with the install kit or not but i know Brent and Frank over at DTP will install them for me for a good price
I wouldn't buy them unless you know the guy pretty well. They've already been heat cycled and I've never heard of someone switching gears back to stock even after supercharging. Maybe they were installed incorrectly the first time or something. On the other hand they might be perfectly fine. idk....
if u dont already have the bearing kit i would invest in that also since your in there u might as well do it right
he said the 4.10s are to much with the boost he has, he said his first two gears are worthless so he switched back anyways i dont think im going to get them because he said that they are to much for boost and i want to boost my stang. maybe a nice pair of 3.73s will work
Well it is common for 410s being too much with a blower but most people switch to something lower like 373s. I don't know why he'd go back to stock where it will probably be not enough gear. He already did the whole blower deal, what's $200 more for something pretty important?
oh, now it makes more sense, I assumed he had an sn95 so I figured they were 308s or 327s. Ok. It's a toss up still. :dunno:
motive makes nice gears cheap at americanmuscle.com http://www.americanmuscle.com/94-98-mustang-gears.html
i would only buy ford racing gears esp if you are installing them yourself motive gears are good but they are also known to be noisy
