Fuel Additive question

I use to run STP something in mine. I haven't for like 2-3 years, though. I lived about 3 blocks from a Wal-Mart. I'm now about 36 & 48 miles from one. Too high @ the parts store.

i use sea foam.... its not bad for your car unless you use it alot, then it can fry plugs...


i suggest sea foam once every few months (4-6 months)

its not going to "fix" any problems, but it can help with MPG....

will sea foam foul out my 02 sensors?
i have the old ones to run while im using the sea foam.
then when im done i can put the new ones back in.
i also have new spark plugs to put in after.

if you run it too much it will, otherwise (1 treatment every once in a while) no... if you want to change out the O2s, it maybe be a worthwhile preventative precaution... lol... i wouldnt bother... personally.

you can also run sea foam through the oil and the intake system.

I use the Lucas fuel system treatment. None of the stuff on the shelves will hurt your engine or they would not be on the shelf to begin with. All of the fuel system treatment products are tested so you dont have anything to worry about.
