I'm planning on hopefully getting a 90mm lightning MAF calibrated for 42 lb injectors along with a Kenne Bell supercharger for my currently mostly stock '95 GT. Once I'm no longer broke, I'd like to get a dyno tune (SCT chip, probably). My question is, do I need the tune to run with the new MAF/injectors, or does the fact that they match at 42 lb/hr mean I can just bolt it all together and lay rubber?

Since I'll be out of money after getting the blower, I might just run it with the stock air intake, MAF, and 19 lb injectors for a while...

yes.. you NEED a tune to run the lightning maf... the MAF transfer function in the ECM will not read it properly, and you will NEVER get it running right

if you are looking to run around without a tune you can get a maf specificaly for the 94-95 for 42# injectors. at least until you can get a tune. but to get the most outta your engine performance and lifespan wise get a tune

You definitely don't need a dyno tune to run a lightning MAF but you do need a chip for the computer that says you're running one.
