Fuel pump upgrade needed?

I'm looking to put on some ported npi heads with custom ground livernois cams. The original owner said he made 270 rwhp through an auto. Would it be necessary to upgrade fuel pump and injectors?

Naw, You only need a fuel pump upgrade when going closer to 400HP

not the pump but my car is a H/C/I car and i got 24lbs injectors... you really dont need to mess with the pump till about 5oohp im guessing... i had a 97 cobra that made 400 and did fine with the stock pump but i think with the power your making just up the injectors and you will be fine

yeah there pretty good, i have AFR heads on mine with a f-cam, but i change my first answer you really need to go with a 190 pump instead of stock, im upgraded mine soon

I'm still going back and forth between these heads and cams or just spraying the hell out of it. But I don't like the fact that I have to fill up a bottle.

i wouldnt spray untill you had a built bottom end... thats just asking for a blown up motor

yeah ok thats why i saw first hand what happens when you dont bulid your motor for this type of stress.... a crank you can move a 1 1/2 inch, shattered piston, and twisted piston rod... fresh built motor BTW
