gas tank leak?

i just got a supercharger installed on my 95 gt. the shop put a fuel pump in and now i have a very bad leak! any suggestions? it looks like it might be comming from where the neck meets the tank but idk?

Yes, that is a common issue. That happens when ever the tank gets dropped it needs to be replaced.

take it back to the shop. they should have replaced it when it was out

It happened to me too last winter, I took a right turn a little hard and it tore the rubber neck grommet. It leaked under a full tank, I was flipping out because I've never seen this, but I had a good friend drop the tank and put the new one in. No more gas fumes in the car haha.

drop tank, pull filler tube, grease up the new gasket, slide it in, put tube back in, lift tank, bolt in.

I agree and the fact that when they probably tested it they should have seen the gas seeping out on the ground also.
