GM Synchromesh for T-45?

I got a 96 GT that I'm changing the trans oil next week, because it's shifting a little notchy when cold, I bought 2 quarts of GM synchromesh and the other 2 will come in next week, any comments from anyone who tried this? even steeda recommends & sells it on their site but I want to hear first hand accounts as well, Thanks.

thinking about doing this too cause mines a little crackly and notchy. ...

synchromesh doesn't have a weight does it? there's only 1 kind of synchromesh?
