How we doin today guys?

Ok i posted a while ago about a broken seat track. One of my buddies is selling his seats which are same color and are in good shape. But! the drivers seat is a power seat. Right now the drivers side is mechanical. Am i going to run into problems with the power seat when i install it? Has anyone done this transition before?

thanks

alot of cars were wired for power seats even if they had a manual seat just like you can find the cvt top wiring for them on coupes.......

what year is the car? when you remove the seat, there should be a hole in the carpet around the center of the seat pan.
best thing to do would be to pull the scuff plate and drivers kick panel off so you can lift the carpet up to see if the power seat harness is under there.
if it is, just feed the wire through that hole in the carpet and it's just plug and play from there.
just a note, make sure that both of the seat motors work, it's a pain in the @#$ when the forward reverse motor does not work correctly. :angry4:

god luck with it!

If you do not have the power option just do what I did in my f250. I just found out which wire is power in the seat harness and fed it from a always hot powersource under the dash. Find the ground wire run it to a good ground.
