Hello! My name is Katrina, and I am from the Matsu Valley of Alaska. Extremely new to the forums, I only just found it last night while googling mustang stuffs. But I have been a Ford/Mustang enthusiast since I was a small child, and yesterday, I finally got my first Mustang! A red 1996 V6 automatic (although I can and prefer to drive manuals, so a conversion may be in order). I know absolutely nothing about the mechanical side of things when it comes to Mustangs, but that's why I'm here: to learn and grow so I may build my Stang to be the best it can be!

I think you're the most northern member. There's a couple north of me in Edmonton, but I think that's it.
Probably the most western member too lol. Don't think we have any Hawaii members.

Thanks all for the warm welcome Being the most north-western member actually comes as a bit of a shock to me I would have expected at least one other Alaskan lol. That'll change this fall as I will be driving down to ND. Mustang road trip outta be hella fun though.

Sorry, I meant all the V6 gang that are touchy about their cars. V6's make great race cars with the reduced weight of the front end, maybe not that fast for drag racing but neither are the V8 GT's with the NPI 4.6 motor coming in at a whopping 170 RWHP.

For your first mods may i suggest you replace the front wheels with skis?...........actually i meant that as gentle teasing from a Floridian to an Alaskan, but now that im imagining it, that would probably be super badass lol. Spiked tires in the back and skis in the front.........yup. confirmed. That would indeed be super badass. Anyways, greetings again from the completely opposite corner of North America.

That would be pretty damn badass lol. ND would be the place for it, nice big flat fields, tons of snow... I could run with my jeep buddies then and have the sickest build there. lol
