Looking for a inexpensive outdoor car cover that will keep the race car covered over the winter. It has no side windows and to protect the few decent paint spots it has. My SVO has the trailer for the winter so the ole #71 is stayin outside.

Anyone know of a good outdoor cover?

Bub I love your sig pic lol that's awesome man.

Rich I've never used a real car cover tbh I just used a large tarp and some bungies and bricks. Worked well on my convertible Camaro. When I took it off I didn't have any funky smell or water spots or anything like that. Just looked the way it did when I put it away. The plus to using a tarp is if you can get a big enough one like I did you can cover the entire car, most covers leave the bottom of the wheels exposed. That's just how I did it tho. Car covers are ridiculously overpriced IMO and I wasn't about to pay that much lol

You can't skimp on the cover if you really care about it. I've had a few Big Lots covers, and after a couple weeks outside, they literally just disappeared. They completely disintegrated.

Yeah but...it's Big Lots...did you expect quality?

I used to have a car cover from AutoZone but it didn't do well. So now I use a tarp and bungee cords to cover my wrecked v6. It's done fine ever since I've had it on for about a month.

IDK if you have costco by where you live but I got mine through them and it's spent two winters outside under the cover and the cover is still holding up like a boss! It's the Coverking ExtremeWeave one. You can see it here sort of

I'll check that out... we're doing the Cosco shopping this weekend. Thanks!!

Tarp is another one I'll check out, maybe something that don't stick out like a sore thumb. Don't want to look anymore like the Clampets as is. lol

Lol mine is 2 sided one side is silver the other brown so I just use the Brown side. It's far cheaper than a damn cover and works just fine IMO

not even close to 20 something. I'm rolling up on the half century mark pretty fast. My oldest son is getting close to 30.

I got a Covercraft NOAH car cover at www.CoverQuest.com, I love it. The price was pretty reasonable. There are so many to pick from. You might want to check it out.
