k im buying a cobra in the next few weeks.. (cant decide between a 97 green vert or a 98 blue vert, which do you like?) anyway first im gonna make sure everythings working properly, then ill start moddin it.
so what are your guys' favorites in these areas? pics and links would be nice

spoiler (prolly the BIGGEST and HIGHEST one i can find..... jk flush mounted like a xenon look good i think)

exhaust (leanin toward bassani or magnaflow (maybe even side exit-ers lol))

hood (maybe a term copy or a ram air.. or a cowl or a shaker shit i dont know lol)

sound system (any companies make ones to specifically fit where the seats fold down?)

and maybe a cool paint job if i have the time or money lol, even though i think the plain green or blue look great

so what are your guys' favorites in each of these? dont worry ill get to the go-quick goodies later i've got enough tickets as it is (actually out of a license till july 20 haha)

What color green and blue? If the blue cobra is BAB (bright atlantic blue), get it NOW, that color is HOT

Spoiler...definitely an S281 spoiler, or a xenon i guess...ive never seen a good picture of a stang with a xenon, do you have any pics?

Exhaust, its all preference, but whatever you decide im sure it will sound good. Bassani is expensive but sounds great.

As for a hood, im partial to cowl hoods, I like the heat extractor hoods too.

First thing I would do...suspension and new wheels...IMO a good stance and a nice set of wheels is what really makes a car.

s281 was the one i was thinkin of but i forgot the name ha so i just put xenon
a friend of mine has a bassani x with magnaflow tips thats prolly how ill go but i was just wonderin other peoples opinions.. im not that great at searchin the internet (too lazy?) so i ask you guys who've been at shows and seen the cars and know what works and what sucks lol.. yeah im waitin to decide on black chrome or regular chrome rims or maybe color matching i wanna get the car and decide then.. thanks for the info though!

Cobra look good already. If it aint broke don't fix it. Why would you by a car that needs paint? The cobra came with the Mach 1000 I believe, no need for a system to drown out the exhaust. Get some magnapacks. The stock hood is so BA. Don't change it.

i know they look great but i meant like stripes or graphics or somethin to set it apart.. im just lookin for subs/amp and new faceplate, and on the hood its just somethin to set it apart again..

i'm kinda partial to bab but the other color blue is good too. like stated earlier don't rice it all out, subtle changes are good. IT'S A COBRA for crying out loud. wheels tires and springs should be #1 on the list

Pacific Green or BAB (only blue the 98 Cobra came in)... Good God Damn that's a tough choice!

I vote for leave the stock Cobra hood- it's unique and I like that power dome in the middle. Looks worlds better than the stock GT hood, anyway.

I'd suggest get it in good working order (which you already plan to do), then measure your wants/needs from there. You're definitely in the right place for these cars!

I'd go with blue, I've never been a fan of green mustangs.

The S281 wing looked awesome on my '97, Thinking about putting one on the '94.

Magnaflow!!!

I like the stock hood as well.

The Mach1000 was not standard in the Cobra's, although the Mach460 isn't that bad. I had 2 10" subs in my '02 GT hooked up to the stock system with a line-out adapter, and it sounded bada$$! However, I didn't think seats in a vert fold down??? If they do, I know there isn't much room to slide some big subs in there.

lol shit your right i forgot about that! oh well.. stock system it is yeah ill prolly go with an s281 and ill wait to see on the exhaust.. and ill prolly pick whichever of the colors i find first.. there are really like none for sale i swear.. yeah now the only decision left is between a heat extractor, ram air, or just the stock hood..

nothing wrong with dreaming man ....

but im not a huge fan of verts ...but of the 2 colors you like i would go with bab ....

on the spoiler end a s281 is very nice but EVERYONE has it now so im over it...i am really into the stock 94-95 cobra wing "crab claw" i believe roush makes a version just like it without the brakelight mounted in it...

exhaust ....def. bassani if you can afford it I LOVE MINE!!! i was a die-hard flowmaster man ...used to say bassani is over priced crap just from hearing it .....but then being in one changed my mind they sound so fierce totally worth the cost

hoods for our body stlye they are curvy so i feel the cobra r best fits our cars....probley like the spoiler aspect on the whole everyones got it ...but its really the only hood that looks good to me on our cars ...im really not a fan of the stock 96-98 cobra hoods...

and on the graphics and stripes crap not for me i cant stand that shit..

but i have to agree that lowering the car and wheels make the car...first mods for sure

yeah but EVERYONE has cobra r hoods... i'll prolly go with a heat extractor... hell i'll prolly get the first cobra i can afford with a black interior that isn't red.. then i'll pick the rims to go with the color.. then prolly save up for a full suspension kit.. then grab the hood and exhaust.. might skip the exhaust if i can find a good turbo system.. then bolt ons.. then hi perf upgrades for the eventual turbo or tt.. but i have a horrible driving record so racing isnt exactly a big priority right now lol i've gotten in way too much trouble already for it.. the only reason my car hasn't been impounded yet is cuz the cops either know me or my family or they love mustangs.. i think i just need to hit up some more car shows and see more in person to get the feel for what i like.. but thanks for the input everyone :TY:
