So my friend has a 95 gt, bright blue, and trickflow top end kit, with stage 2 cam, chrome 03 cobras staggered, blah blah blah, and he'll sell it to me for 3k...
Right now I have my 96 gt which is slow, kinda tired, needs work, has a pi intake, radiator leak and rear main seal leak,,ach 460 rear amps fade in and out and some body damage, im hoping to sell it for 2k, save up a grand and buy his car for my b-day next month.

My question is, do you think my car is even sellable right now? I feel like I would need to put money into it, to even sell it..then again maybe a kid kinda like me will buy it for the "potential" I always make my mistakes on the potential I see in a car, and Im never satisfied until I put a good bit of money into em..

If you need more info about the situation let me know.

I really just miss my 5.0, woulda never sold it if I didnt have too. Every 4.6 I've had has been a dissapointment compared to the 5.0 that came before it.

Man you go thru cars a lot. Hehe. Angle the tail pipes right and someone will buy it. People love these cars.

You seemed to like your old 5.0 but had personal issues. If you know the history on your friends car then try to sell your 96Gt and get that 5.0

Lol I cut the tips off, I couldnt take it anymore, and yeah, i've been through a lot of cars, but mostly cause I made mistakes thinking I would be doing myself a favor in one way or another..

traded my first 50, for a 4.6 that was a piece of shit.
sold that 4.6 and got another 50, that eventually I really loved but the car needed work, and I had to pay off 2100$ in tickets, so that baby left...
then I bought this car, which is decent, but still not really what I want.
I just seem to have bad luck with 4.6's.

Thats crazy. Usually the modulars are very stout because the engines are tanks but if you keep buying ragged ones then I can see why. I'm glad I bought a virgin 4.6 that had a some what of a easy life, and decently maintained. If your not about that 4.6L life, stick with what your comfortable with. In the end this all advice but you can do whatever you want to do. The 5.0 with H/C/I sounds legit. Sell the 4.6L on craigslist as a good project vehicle, and get that 5.0 bruhh

i get that your really wantin outta the 4.6. but if u gotta come up with $1,000 to by another car, how much could you repair on what you already have and know for $1,000? i sold a little aspire that needed bout $350 to fix a head to a guy for $400 and he fixed and drives it everyday. that was 3 yrs ago :(. just sayin sometimes annoying problems can be fixed easier then taking on something new that can offer even bigger and better problems.....

I'm not going to lie, I had my car up on craigslist not that long ago to trade for a modded 94-95. After really thinking about it, I decided I like my car and I have a lot of time and money wrapped up in it, even though it doesnt really show it. If you don't really like what you have why continue dumping money into it, get a 5.0 be happy....for a little while, lol.

3k doesn't sound to bad for a 95 with an HCI already. You should be able to sell yours quick if you put it in front of the high school with a sign on it. Yours looks clean on the outside even if it's a POS on the inside.
It really depends if the 5.0 has been thrashed too. 95 BB Mustang = WINNING. just saying.

Hey dude, dont get locked up in the 2v stigma that theres nothing you can do. TFS, ported PI's, and some nice cams will turn it into beast and can match a nice H/C/I 5.0 any day. Now how much you want to spend thats where the 5.0 starts look appetizing but thats a whole different story. Do what works for you, more power to you if you get H/C/I car because thats less stuff to get done on the list of mods.

^ JerZey is right... The best thing to do is figure out what you want, try to have the patience to save up and build it.

If you've seen the 95 and it checks out and is nicer than your 4.6, I would definitely get rid of the 4.6 and scoop it up.

Yeah that's possible but it's cheaper to do that stuff to the 5.0.... So unless you really love your 2V or have that extra cash to drop in it instead of going 5.0. I do wish a lot of times that I would have just gotten a 5.0 coupe, things would be so much easier right now for me car-wise lol.

Yeah the 50 is one of my good friends cars. I've been in it, know what It needs and what it has.

Sounds like you've already made up your mind...ditch the 4.6, and buy the 5.0. Is it bright atlantic blue or just bright blue?
