got break issues?

ok so here is my problem im changing the break pads and rotors on my car and i cant get the caliper to compress i have a straight shot on it when im trying to compress them and i snaped a 5" c clamp trying to get them compressed. i have done quite a few power stalls with these breaks on and im wondering if i didnt lock up the piston in the caliper by doing this. figure maybe got to hot and siezed up :dontknow:
any who im just looking for some advice or problems that i might have that i have over looked or havent goten any help will be appreciated.

Weird, I've never heard of a rear break before, rear brake though, that's a different story =p

thanx for the info this helps out alot first time ive ever seen a break system like this but all my other cars were pre '91. and also after calling part stores for 30 min a guy told me the same thing about having to turn it back in and compress the caliper at the same time. so now i know what i was doing wrong :BangHead:

det_riot dont pick on me about my spelling i graduated top 5% from retarded class :tard:
