got the car running today after 2 yrs of work. not driving it till the tune. but its done.



03 cobra shortblock
ported c heads
76mm single turbo (hellion setup)
short runner 98 cobra intake (custom made by me)
IMRC deletes
4.30 gears
full suspension

hoping to get at least 600HP we'll see after tune, not driving till tune.

an 88 trim right behind the radiator usually gives it away as being not stock.
I didn't even know the ports or the bolt patterns were the same on B and C intakes

They are not the same. The "B" head has 2 intake ports. A primary and a secondary. The "C" heads have a single port. I would be very interested to see how he made a "B" head intake work on "C" heads.

HAHa this is what i was thinking lol. Your gunna rip through the gears so fast, and not in a good way. You should have went with 3.55's or even a little lower. 4.30's with boost, your not gunna have any time to use it. I got 3.73's and im running boost and im thinking about going a little lower.

The car is going to be hazing the tires so bad it won't really have enough load to make any meaningful boost.

Maybe hes got a Viper ratio T56? Even then Id run 3.73s at the most.

But to the OP,Congrats on getting the car together!

With a Viper T56, even though the 6th is taller than the T45's 5th so highway cruising would be better with the 4.30s, the VT56 is a much quicker ratio overall on the shifting, so he'd have even more problems with 4.30s and the kind of power that plant would be producing.
