Finally got some runs in to get an idea on what im working with.

basically went how I figured it would

I have no suspension mods and im slammed with no weight in the back of my car.

I pretty much had limited use of first gear.

Long story short I couldnt launch and I would spin at some point in first gear causing really early shifts and boggin in second gear and shitty 60 foot times

Best time was 12.195 at 116.11, trapped 117 a few times

60 foot times were shit, I think the best was like 1.93

Im sure If I could get my 60s where I want them in the 1.6-1.7 range and have 1st-2nd-3rd gears shifts happen when I want them to, the car would have ran what I believed it was capable of which is mid-high 11s.

My runs were also done on a heat soaked engine after driving an hour with no cool down time.

I know with my old procharger I used to pick up about 2 mph when I would let it sit for a few hours and cool down.

eh always more nights, if its cold the track wont hook real well, and you may have gotten the tires too hot and go greasey or not gotten them hot enough..

Yea, I dont think cecil preps the track on friday at all.

I dont know what happened but the tires couldn't handle the initial shock of a launch at all which sucked.

(LOL, I spin through 3 gears before I let off)

1/8 8.935@ 89.22 mph
1/4 13.233 @ 116.11

On this one something interesting happened, my car spun hard in first, hit second, downshifted back to first and actually hooked in first for the second half, revved up to about 6200-6300 where it should and hit second right and my 1/8 mile trap speed jumped up to 91.12
the run was still shitty cause my 60 was terrible but I thought it was something to be considered.

haha of course, if I were able to actually launch the car at all Im sure I would have been able to see a lot better times.

It wouldnt suprise me to see 11.50s-11.70s with a proper launch and everything going as planned.

Tuning the automatic shift points and lockups has a huge affect on 1/4 mile times so I really need to mess with them and figure out what works best. Theres probably a a few tenths of a second still in the shifting and lockup points.

Another big thing is the fact that I never let me engine/blower cool down at all after the hour and half driving up there.

Never seemed to matter when I was N/A but when I had the procharger I would usually pick up anywhere from 1-3 mph from running heat soaked when I get there vs. letting the car cool down for 2-3 hours and then running.


Its no suprise considering the whole system after driving for that long is heat soaked all to hell
