So on my old truck, with really dark tint, the water spots on the windows were horrible. I work at a detailing center so I have a lot of info on detailing vehicles, products etc.
If you want to get rid of water spots on your windows, go to Wal*Mart and look for a brown bottle with the name "Rust Stain Remover." When you take the cap off, it'll have 1 hole where it squirts out.
Just go to your windows and apply it onto a cloth and wipe in the area where the water spots are, BUT do not use it where windshield wipers move or anything that slides across the glass and do not use it on the side mirrors either.
If you want to remove the water spots on the side view mirrors, I use a product called Colonial Brassy. Not sure where you can get if from, but we get it from Auto Magic and it runs about $20 (our cost) per bottle. However, it works AMAZING on a lot of areas, especially chrome or anything of that nature.
