Those brakes REALLY fill out the wheels. I did learn something. When installing Fox struts on the front of an SN95, you need to make sure to put the ABS sensor back in place BEFORE you bolt up the struts. The Fox struts sit a little lower in the bracket and make it so you cant put the ABS sensor in after the struts are.

I didnt take a pic yet but the inboard pad on the old brakes was BENT.

Tomorrow the left front. Then I start on the rear. Control arms should be here Thurs. Hopefully it dont actually rain Thurs.

Anrev, I noticed that the front calipers and rotors did not come with caliper brackets. Were you able to reuse the orig caliper brackets(non cobra), if not what did you use? Oh and keep the pics coming, looks good so far

Well I had to give up on the control arms. I just cant get them out. Guess Im going to have to pay someone to do them..... :wall: So I cut out the rear coil springs and installed the new ones. Then I tackled the rear brakes. Baer makes a nice kit. Went on fairly easy.

I noticed something today that seamed odd to me. Look at this picture. This is the LH rear brakes.

Now look at the one above. Notice anything different? Why are the brake mounting brackets different between the L&R?? I mean they both work. But why?

Here it is with the wheel on.

Notice how close the caliper is to the wheel? Its SO close in fact that if I WASNT using 2" spacers, those wheels WOULD NOT FIT. They have a big fat lip inside.

Ok enough messing around. Here it is on the ground.

For comparison:

Now I need a good alignment and to find somewhere to do the Baer brake bedding procedures.

Do you have 17's? which is the actual minimum size wheel to fit the 13" as you prolly already know

and is prolly just the wheels offset
