Been wanting to do this upgrade for a LONG time. The stock brakes on my car SUCK. So I got this stuff.

I got these front rotors:
http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=554

These front calipers:
http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=542

And these rear rotors:
http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=1028

And then I got stainless steel brake lines for the front:

And the last bit arrived today!

Now I just need the time to install all this and the Eibach springs and Tokico Blue shocks.

Wow, I really like the nice flat black calipers. I think I'll put those on the notch. Thanks for the links Anrev. :) Nice setup.

Yeah they got the best price on them. Get them before the price goes up like everywhere else.

Just curious why you got all of that - this will do the same thing as the other set I listed below and it includes stainless lines for $349.00

Upgrading the rear is never a bad idea, but not necessary. The fronts do about 80% of the stopping. You only need to upgrade the rear if you are road racing a lot.

Either way, the brakes are nice. :thumb:

So if I buy this kit for an 89 notch with 94-95 spindles and such - will the brake lines fit? Or was there a change in brake lines/fittings from the fox to SN chassis?

Paul.

All said and done...

The way I would do it on a Fox would be:

- 99+ spindles
- SN95 GT or Cobra master cylinder
- SN95 GT brake booster

Lines should fit without issue.

EDIT: yeah they were changed...dont know the specifics though - lemme find out. I have a buddy that worked for Maximum Motorsports...I'll check with him.

No the lines wont fit. The Cobra uses a coarse thread banjo fitting. But it comes with the upgraded brake lines.

I went this route cause I wanted Mach 1 calipers (plain, no markings) and cross drilled rotors. As for the rear brakes. I just wanted something to fill out the wheels. And 13" rotors on the rear look cool.

Let be more specific...

If I order the kit complete with the stainless brake lines, will they attach correctly to my existing fox hard lines?

I already have 94-95 spindles. I don't want the 96+ spindles.

Paul.

Props on the title!!! It took some thinking, but I figured it out.

I need new brakes on mine, I keep putting it off. I don't drive it much though! Looks good!!

Paul.

I just recieved an Email back from my buddy that worked @ Maximum Motorsports.

Paul will have to get an adapter to fit one of the SN95 lines to the fox hard line, or just buy a set of Fox-SN95 braided lines from Maximum Motorsports.

Great, thanks for the info. I didn't know MM offered an adapter line.
