Ground bolts keeps spinning

Anyone have any issues with the ground bolt keeps spinning instead of tightening. SpeCifically the ones by the headlights.

Is it the bolt or the hole? Is there suppose to be a nut under it?

long time ago yes. You can either drill/tap for a larger bolt or move it to a spot that you can put a bolt/nut to tighten it down.

What ive always done is get like a little clip inset with thread on bottom and just slid it over and reuse the bolt

What do you call those exactly? I know there on the car already on certain parts.

Drill a new hole and send a bolt and nut threw it done

Those neat little threaded clip things are commonly referred to as U clips.

U-clip/speed clip but honestly a ground is not the place for them though. You NEED a solid metal/metal connection with as much surface area as possible to absorb the current flow. The clips are generally made to sandwich the sheet metal beteween 2 or 3 smaller/sharper points to cut in rather then a larger area like a nub/bolt use.
