GT40P head

Since gt40p's can be picked up on the cheap up here. I wanted to know how much hp would i gain if i did some gt40p's had them milled and ported with a tfs1 cam or the like. I already have the cobra intakes with a 65mm tb? thanks for the help guys. I dont want to hear about aluminum heads I know what they can do and believe i can build a nice cheap combo.

About 255-270, they are nice heads, and the TF-1 is a good cam.

is there a better one you would recommend. Im kind of just buying parts here and there untill i have my setup complete. I have heard mention of comp cams 2031 i think???? O and the guy going to do the shift kit is Dan, if i can ever have him check his pm's.

Not a better one in that price range, but I have a set of Iron Eagles by Dart that are going on this winter, that would put me close to 300 probably.

The 2031 from Crane is a good, but older grind. the cam depends on the rest of the combo, the TF1 is a good cam with nice ramp rates.

since your set on using those heads, why not spend some more money on a custom cam. That way you can squeeze the most out of them. if you do go custom cam you will most likely have to upgrade springs, and work the heads some.

im not set on anything. I dont want to hear about aluminum heads when im asking about irons.ill look into the springs.
