GT500 at Monticello

I don't if anyone remembers but a few weeks ago I had my father 07 GT500 40th anniversary on the track at Monticello Motor Club. Well I took some video with my GoPro HD and finally got it upload to youtube. It was raining but the car didn't seem to care, I did about 100 laps. The brakes were so hot that the wheels were bone dry when I came off the track. The tires were steaming and had a tone of rubber rolled into all the tread, I have to give it to Eibach, Ford, and Shelby for making something this awesome. I registered for an event on the 26th of July for my SN95, so it has to be done by then. All I need to do is install my battle boxes, my passenger seat, and get it running properly. You can bet I will post videos of that as well. :thumbsup:

My dad has an '08 500. No way in hell he'd ever let me do that lol. It has 3,000 miles.

Therefore I'm very jealous. Looks like it was alot of fun! I'd be nervous in the rain though.

haha you would be amazed at how well it handled, he has a full eibach race suspension so that probably helps, but it drove better then a '10 M3 so I was happy lol
