GM Has Now Announced That the ZR1 Has officially Lapped the Nurburgring in 7:26.4

....Thats is 3 Seconds Faster than the Fastest Official Lap Time Reported By the Nissan GTR.

The ZR1 was Bone stock and ran on Pump gas.

GM is said to release a Video of the Run later Next week

Guys have gotten the ZO6 into the 10's on drag radials. The ZR1 should be positively frightening.

Magazine numbers are not fact. Not everyone is a professional driver. The ZR1 has potential to run 10's, Id highly doubt that if I saw one at the track that it would flash a 10 on the boards.
