That's right.
After 4.5 years, I called Brad (the guy I sold the car to in June 2014) and I bought it back this past Sunday.
He had only put 1,000 miles on it since buying it from me.

Car looks like I had just dropped it off.
Needs a basic clean up and some quick maintenance like fluid changes, tire pressure adjustments, etc and then it will be ready to terrorize the streets once more.

My garage is really TIGHT now! HAHA!
Planning to build a separate detached soon, but made the TTSaleen fit next to my 2003 Cobra and 2003 Mach 1.

I counted the stacks and at first thought it was full of crap paying that much for an sn. Then I saw the motor and remembered which one it was. Ya know with the right lift you could fit another one in there. Welcome back cool car for sure.

Wasn’t this the one that had a cool video of a hard launch with music playing and it later down a set of black lines for like forever?!?

Same guy that was giving tutorials on how to match both windows at the same height when you’re cruising?

That’s awesome you got the car back man. You have a freaking awesome collection of Ford vehicles now.

Mine was similar. I took my brother-in-law for a ride and did almost a 1/4 mile burnout. LOL.

Quick update on the TTSaleen.
Took the family to dinner in it on Saturday night.

Then on Sunday, I put on my Bogarts and Hoosier slicks and went to the track.
Got my best times so far under less than ideal conditions.
Car setup -
93 octane
17.5# boost
Only stalls at 3200 on transbrake so it leaves really soft.
1st pass - 1.58 sixty foot time and went a 6.13 @ 121mph. 1/4 mile sensors were not working unfortunately.
2nd pass - 1.47 sixty foot time, but spun badly in 2nd, pedaled it twice went a 6.61 @ only 112mph but still went a 9.98 @ 147mph in the 1/4.
I feel like on the 1st pass it could have gone mid 9's around 150-155mph.

Anyway, it was awesome to be back in my old car and on the track. I never built it to be a track car only a street car. It sure TWISTS up on the launch with only subframe connectors and no rollcage. LOL!!!!

I see some left on the front! Awesome pic of it on take off. What camera were they using to get such a clean and clear shot?

I have the 18" Saleen wheels for the street. Fronts are actually narrowed from 9" to 6". I run a 215-45-18 Hankook Ventus V12 tire on front.
Rears are 10" Saleen wheels and I run a Mickey Thompson 305-35-18 drag radial on them.

Not sure. Track photographer took them.

So if you can’t hook on the street with 305 MT drag radials then you really can’t do much more to make it hook aside from tubbing it right? That’s a lot of meat back there and you completely blow the tires off without blinking.

If you do a proper burnout on the street does it hook any better?

It's basically just driving the car thru it and not going wide open throttle. I can't use any more than the low boost setting which is 18 pounds as it will annihilate the tires. LOL. But I can modulate the throttle and 1/2 throttle it and make it hook up and then feed in more pedal as it can take it depending on speed/road conditions.
Warming up the tires doesn't make much difference in this car. Plus I run the pressure anywhere from 16# to 20# for the best bite.
Any higher and its spin-city.

Videos of this car helped me make the decision to sell my long time 410w combo and switch to a 4.6 4V with intentions to turbocharge it. I'm glad to see it back [shoehorned?] in the stable.
