No the pro chamber does not have cats.

No cats..what it is, is unlike the x-pipe, the pipes merging into a small rectangular chamber not only helps exhaust pulses scavenge the opposite bank (the pulses are 180 degrees out of phase in a 4 cycle V8) but the gases in the chamber become hotter as the pulses merge, increasing flow and torque.
I made more power with my Prochamber than I did with my Pypes x-pipe...not to mention the sound of the Prochamber is sweet..

i HAD a prochamber but it got jacked out of my barracks a few years ago :crying: mail thiefs are assholes :wall:

I've found it on Ebay from a store I've used! If I do buy this, it will make it louder? I care less about power stuff. The only way I will even consider is it it makes my 95 5.0 motor louder! I am running no cats, w. racing mufflers to dumps!

Yes. it will be louder for sure, When i bought my car the guy was running MAC longtubes with a prochamber with turndowns, its honestly the reason i bought the car, it sounded so evil. He sold the car without the pro chamber to me so i bought one and it got jacked. Pro chambers are the shit dude i wish i had one
Here's my testimonial about mac's pruducts. I have mac 1 5/8s full length headers, 2.5" prochamber and a 2.5" mac catback thru tail pipes. I was quite shocked at the sound level when I first started it. It was very deep but didn't have that mind numbing drone of the two chamber flows i was replacing. You can actually hold a normal converstation while cruising in 3rd @ 3500 rpms and actually hear the bass in your radio. (If you have the back seat up that is) I eventually added MAC's 3" tips for looks and now it sounds a lot deeper and very, very sexy. Almost exotic if I must say so. I was running stock h/c/i and minor bolt-ons at that time, so I'm sure that's why it wasn't very loud. I have some sound clips (idling, short revs) on my laptop I can post them later if you wanna hear them. Also I posted a vid in the "smoke em if you got em" thread in 'the garage' section so you can hear it during a 2nd gear burnout. As soon as I get it all back together, ill post some follow up vids so you can hear how it sounds with aftermarket h/c/i, bigger mass air etc... Should sound like instant sex :bang:
