so when i bought my car it was set up for the drag strip, but i dont like all the things they did to it. for example they took off the front sway bar and i hate the way it handles and it has ALOT of body roll!! the other day i was racing my friend's 04' GTO and we hit around 145mph and when i taped my brakes the car swayed really bad! i thought the car was gonna lose control. and i wanted to know if there is anything i can do to improve the handling without hurting its performance at the track? and what are some other things i could get to improve my 60ft time at the drag strip?

Sadly it is hard to have both worlds. Go buy a front sway bar, now the rear sway bar will hurt your times by a few tenths, but I would put it back in there anyway. And get some drag radials.

For starters, reinstall your front swaybar. If you want to go to the strip, just unhook an endlink and you're back in business.

I thought the purpose for removing the front sway-bar was weight, and to allow the front to rise up more. Wont removing just 1 side still hold the front down?

+1 to that. front sway bar will only weigh about 5 pounds. I guess its all a matter of if you want the car to be streetable as well.

I think you'll be happier with a car that is a nice medium of both street and strip car. Alot of cars that have handling mods can still run good times at the track, just got find the right combo.
