no amigo.

i personally suggest taking out the radiator and fan. It will give you enough space to get an impact gun in there to take the bolt out. Its rather difficult keep the motor from turning over when you are taking the bolt out or TQing it down.

on the new edge's, i beleive they are TQed down to something like 90-100ft/lbs.

when i installed my steeda UDs, it said they changed the TQ sequence in 1998 or something and I thought it said like 97ft/lbs.

i also suggest leaving the serpintine belt on, the accessories will help prevent the pulley from spinning.

Ya, the serpentine belt will help some, but an impact is the way to go. taking out the fan/radiator is a good idea as well, it wont fit with that stuff in there. or you can put a long pry bar in the teeth of the starter gear on the flywheel, wedged between the ground and the flywheel, and use a long breaker bar to get it loose. I prefer the impact method.

with the right universal adapter you can get an impact on it without having to remove anything, hell, my 500ftlb impact made it in without the extensions/adapters after only removing the fan

put the socket on the bolt, put a long breaker bar on the bolt,or ratchet and cheater pipe, let it hit the ground, bump the starter. broke mine loose.
