put the socket on the bolt, put a long breaker bar on the bolt,or ratchet and cheater pipe, let it hit the ground, bump the starter. broke mine loose.

been there, done that..... broke the ratchet....

Old school tech tricks... i know guys that do it on lug nuts etc too.

to me that seems more safe than sticking shit in my flywheel. i dont like the idea of something breaking off inside there. if the ratchet/bar/ or whatever i use breaks, it falls to the ground, and i catch the snap-on guy and get a replacement.

but whatever works really.
