My hood gets a haze that only goes away when I use that Ice wax on it. The haze comes bace rapidly.

Is the clear coat on the rio red going away? Can I save it? The finish is like its thirsty...

I tried some super duper whammydyne cleaner but it did nothing.

I thought that's what the super stuff was. I never opened the sealer.

Would you recommend a compound wax?

My dad used to Blue Coral the MGA every Saturday. If ythat's what it takes to keep it nice, I'm leaning toward a nice camo...

Not rough like bad paint, but like its dry (pics won't help...)

i would say to try scratch-x then.. from the way youve described it and answered my questions it sounds like how my s-10 was before i worked on it... it didnt really feel rough but felt dry and wasnt reflective either.. less i used a polymer based wax..

check my thread out here and see if my before pics resemble how yours was.. granted my paint was much further gone than yours sounds so it shouldnt take as much work to bring yours back..

you could take it to a body shop first and see what they say about it though... specially since i cant see it in person.. the downside to that scratch-x stuff is if its not done right itll make it look like someone took sandpaper to the paint..

lol..why not just work your way up?

clay bar it, polish it, wax it...if that doesnt work your probably gonna need to get a hold of a buffer and try a light cut
