Having been down that road, heads are pretty expensive for the gain you get NA.
when looking at flow charts - is that max flow, or atmospheric pressure flow..... beware sales numbers & hype.
If you had NPI heads, i'd say yes replace those speed bumps.

I'd recommend supercharging it and see if you want more from there. Trust me if you get into the motor, the timeframe and estimated expense will multiply. It's like magic.

Thanks for the response Dalamar. Honestly I want to turbo the bastard and see what I can get that way. Always loved turbo's and having rode in a 650whp turbo 2v I'm more than sold on the idea myself. But I know that can't happen until I get a new lower end.. And the lower end is going to be the more than I think I will be able to put forth during the down months. And after turbo is on, I think I'm gonna want better flowing heads for that extra power no?

Also with aftermarket heads, the flow charts show them coming far closer to stock 4v heads than stock heads... Seeing as that's the only real advantage 4v's have on us (stock for stock of course) I thought I'd level the playing grounds a bit. If it's not going to help me level the fields tho, I might wait.

:dontknow:

sounds like you're on the right track.

Turbo is nice. I sure like mine.
Hellion makes a nice kit.
You can run 6-7# now, then turn it up later when you have the funds and patience to get into the motor.

300 to 450 to 600 is funner than.
300, wait 2-3 years to do all at once, 600 - whoah shit this is a whole different car that I forgot how to drive :)
